Maxwell Paper emerged to service the growing need for debit and cash register and other service supplies as Canada’s financial institutions accelerated into the electronic processing of credit and debit card transactions.
To support the national need for rapid service distribution across the country, Maxwell has opened branch offices in Halifax, Montreal, Belleville, Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver.

SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Production Specialist oversees and manages production processes to ensure products are made efficiently, on time, and to quality standards, coordinating with teams, monitoring equipment, analyzing data, and implementing process improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Expertise in cryptography, network security, and hardware security modules, often with certifications in security standards.
  • Familiarity with POS devices is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A deep understanding of production processes, resource capabilities, and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering, as well as inventory control
  • Strong knowledge of software systems, including Microsoft Office products, including Excel, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare daily production schedules
  • Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities, plan schedules, and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Manage cycle count activities to ensure proper counts are conducted and the inventory is accurate.
  • Review demand and supply to understand bottleneck and propose alternative capacity or areas needing capacity improvement to meet demand.
  • Adhere to all company and industry safety protocols. All work must meet quality standards.
  • Ensure integrity of Data Entry
  • Involves the hands-on management of key loading processes for POS devices
  • Keep detailed records of inventory, including parts used.
  • Electronic knowledge and the ability to understand technical instructions, designs, or specifications.
  • Estimate materials required for production
  • Troubleshoot POS devices loading issues
