InstroTek is looking for a Production Specialist who enjoys working with their hands, solving technical challenges, and supporting high-quality products used across the construction materials testing industry. This role is perfect for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You’ll play a key role in assembling, servicing, and calibrating specialized equipment while working closely with internal teams and supporting our customers. What You’ll Do Assemble InstroTek and laboratory testing equipment Perform service and repairs on nuclear density gauges and related equipment Support customers through phone-based technical assistance Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Sales teams Perform Full 3-Block and 5-Block Nuclear Gauge calibrations Generate calibration documentation to meet customer compliance requirements Follow ISO/IEC 17025:2017 guidelines Use custom calibration software (CalPlus Pro) Support the gauge service team as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives Requirements What You Bring Skills & Abilities ? Strong mechanical aptitude ? Basic electronics knowledge and electronics soldering experience ? Comfortable with drilling (hand and drill press) ? Ability to work independently and follow established procedures ? Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail ? Customer-focused mindset and commitment to quality ? Ability to work independently and with a collaborative team Qualifications & Experience Electronics Troubleshooting Ability to collaborate effectively across departments Commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Mechanically Inclined (Drill,/ Hydraulic Press) Dynamics 365 experience plus Experience with Gauge Calibration plus Physical & Work Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently Work in environments with potential exposure to radiation, following all safety and regulatory controls All areas are monitored and controlled under strict safety protocols Exposure risk is minimal and well below occupational safety thresholds Why InstroTek?
