We are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient production worker to join our well established, dynamic business at our Kimbolton Head Office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all goods leaving our premises meet our rigorous quality standards, by performing various tasks related to the checking, packing and management of goods. This position requires a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Head Office in Kimbolton
Job Type: Full-Time, Production/Warehouse Based, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week. Overtime available.
Salary: £12.50 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of our busy team, your main responsibility will be to ensure all goods coming in and leaving the premises meet our high quality standards. You will need to accurately pick and pack shipments, ensuring all shipments are correct and procedures followed. You will also be required to sign off production records and upload quality checking photos to our ERP software. This role requires a keen eye for detail, taking responsibility for your own work and being able to work independently as well as part of a team. This role will involve some overtime during our peak periods.

Responsibilities

· Carry out quality checking, including measuring, colour checks and finishing checks
· Complete production records, logs, and reports accurately and timely
· Raising quality issues with the Operations Manager
· Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring internal procedures are followed and all delivery instructions are met
· Identify areas for improvement in the assembly process and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency and quality
· Assist with despatch and goods in processes, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are checked against documentation
· Help with loading and unloading of deliveries when necessary
· Help within the production teams when necessary
· Ensure stock management procedures are followed
· Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work environment
· Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and improve overall efficiency.
