SUMMARY: This is a hands-on supervisory position for 2nd shift. The Production Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in manufacturing processes, such as assembling, welding, and applying knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products. SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday, 10 hour Shift (3:30pm-2:00am) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and coordinate daily activities of an assigned production team to meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of production employees Complete timekeeping approvals and conduct performance evaluations in accordance with company policy Ensure product quality and customer satisfaction through oversight of fabrication, testing, inspections, and material control Maintain accurate production documentation, including manufacturing travelers and inspection records Monitor incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products for quality and compliance Analyze production issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and workflow Recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and work procedures Foster a clean, organized, and collaborative work environment that promotes productivity and accountability Requirements Associate degree from a technical or two-year college, or equivalent combination of education, training, and 2–5 years of related production experience Strong technical and fabrication skills preferred Prior supervisory, lead, or employee training experience highly desirable Effective verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated leadership ability with the capacity to motivate and influence others Comfortable using standard computer applications and production systems Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment Authorized to work in the U.S.; must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Individual in compliance with ITAR requirements ACT offers competitive pay, excellent benefits (medical, dental, vision, paid time off, holidays, company-paid life & disability insurance, 401(k) match, and profit-sharing), and a supportive team environment.
