Summary: Seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead the production operations of the Weld cell / Trim assembly. Major focus is to spend time on the floor ensuring production requirements are being met on a daily basis. 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11:30pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains a clean work environment on a daily basis. Have knowledge of PLC controls or willing to learn. Can include at a minimum the following: other duties may be assigned by the Executive Committee. Oversee and direct the nightly output of the weld cell / trim assembly. Ensure all labor and production data is recorded properly every night. Ensure employees are wearing required safety equipment at all times. Ensure that cleanup is done at the end of the shift every night. Leads by example. Assist in maintaining growth to the Business Unit consistently and annually. Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development thru effective performance management. Cooperate with other departments to fulfill assigned tasks. Supervisory Responsibilities: People skills and management capabilities to work with all Business Units teams in unity. Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others. Demonstrating ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using team effective problem solving/resolution skill. Required Knowledge: Ability to influence & train others. Technical knowledge of metal fabrication, stamping and spot welding. Qualifications Required Knowledge: Ability to influence & train others. Responsibilities
