Position Title: Production Supervisor (2nd shift) Position Location: Uxbridge, MA Position Type/Schedule: Onsite Monday – Friday 3:30PM-1:00AM Compensation: $71,000-$79,000 (Compensation depends on skills, knowledge, education, and experience) Position Snapshot: The Production Supervisor oversees the 2nd shift daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and on schedule. This role involves managing and developing the production team, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across processes. About you: You are a reliable and friendly night-owl whose ideal work schedule ends when most people are sleeping. You bring a strong manufacturing background and success leading production teams to consistently meet goals while maintaining safety standards. Detail-oriented and adaptable, you lead with a focus on quality and performance, proactively solving problems and keeping operations running smoothly. A day in the life: Manage, train and develop production staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and procedures. Plan and organize resources according to the production schedules, ensuring that production targets are met, and resources are effectively utilized. Foster a positive, fun and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and effective communication between production staff and other departments. Address and resolve production issues in a timely manner to minimize disruption and downtime. Monitor production processes to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement corrective actions as necessary related to production matters, including team members. Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and optimize production flow. Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as output, efficiency and quality. Ensure that all production activities comply with health and safety regulations. Promote a safe working environment and conduct regular safety audits.
