Oversee production to maintain optimum quality in the area of influence and ensure team members follow documented procedures as designated by Quality Control.
Oversee team leads in completing work orders to efficiently meet customer demands. Communicate schedule deviations in a timely manner to all parties involved.
Oversees inventory used in areas of influence and ensures inventory systems are being utilized as directed by inventory control department.
Supervises and coordinates production activities to maintain efficiency levels and supports process improvements, lean manufacturing techniques, and continuous improvement projects to improve workflow.
Responsible for employee evaluations, oversees training, and developing employees.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists workers in solving problems.
Maintains time and production records and reports those to the appropriate persons.
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training of personnel.
Responsible for discipline of personnel.
Studies production schedules to estimate worker hour requirements and production requirements.
The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
