Job Overview: VPET is looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee the workflow at our facility. The candidate will be responsible for coaching, resolving opportunities, and serving as a liaison between subordinates and upper management. The ideal candidate will be a competent individual who will be able to guide and train employees. The candidate will understand the processes that are under the responsibilities of this position. Most of all we are looking for a genuine and ambitious candidate to fill this role with a dynamic and growing company. Key Responsibilities: * Take full responsibility of the quality and product that is produced within the shift following the company’s quality systems, processes, and procedures. * Supervise, develop and motivate direct reporting staff. * Ensure clear communication is given either verbally or written to all members of staff. * Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all relating matters are managed while using the company resources in line with the Health and Safety policies. * Identify root causes and take fast-effective action to resolve any opportunity that arises by using problem-solving skills. * Work closely with other shift Supervisors to ensure production handovers are effective while using effective communication tools. * Maintain an active role in the company’s continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company. * Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace. * Make appropriate decisions while following the company organizational structure. * Ensure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift Competitive Benefits: * Medical (HMO), dental and vision insurance premium. * 401k plan, Employer contributes 3%, up to 4%. * Company offers vacation and sick pay. * Holiday Pay: Eight (8) paid holidays per year. * Basic Life Insurance Paid (25K policy).
