Job Description We’re seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to take charge of our Afternoon shift and help us grow to the future. This shift runs from 3pm to 11.30pm Monday to Friday. You’ll be responsible for approximately 30 staff across two departments, making timely decisions to keep production running smoothly. This is not an office-based or management-only role, you’ll be on the floor solving problems and leading from the front. Key Responsibilities include; Lead, develop and motivate 30 staff across our Assembly and Processing departments Take sole charge of site operations on the afternoon shift, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met. Resolve production issues, providing hands-on mechanical support to minimise downtime. Make timely decisions to keep production running including spend on R&M Manage workloads, absenteeism, and ensure appropriate staff training & development Use data and reports to drive productivity, reduce waste, and improve process. Qualifications You’ll bring at least five years’ manufacturing / engineering experience along with proven leadership skills. Alternatively, we are also open to candidates who are ready to step into leading a larger team and will provide training and development to support your leadership progression. Along with being mechanically minded, driven and hands-on. You’ll also have: A willingness to see others succeed Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. A proactive, action-oriented approach to your work Clear communication and accountability in leadership. Financial awareness to manage costs and productivity. A relaxed likeable personality Formal qualification in a hands-on trade such as Engineering, and / or proven experience in maintaining, troubleshooting and fixing machinery. Responsibilities
