Description We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within a chemical blending and packaging facility. This role is responsible for overseeing production processes, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety and regulatory compliance, and driving efficiency across operations. The Production supervisor will collaborate closely with quality control, sales, and new product development teams to meet production goals while continuously improving processes and performance. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production filling activities across the facility Develop and manage production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and inventory targets Ensure production schedules are executed efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality and safety Supervise and develop production staff, including training and performance management Partner with Quality Control and R&D teams to support product development, scale-ups, and process improvements Monitor batch records, production processes, and equipment performance to ensure consistency and compliance Identify and resolve production issues, including troubleshooting equipment or process deviations Implement and enforce safety policies, including proper handling of chemicals and use of PPE Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA, GMP where applicable) Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize throughput Manage inventory of raw materials and coordinate with supply chain to ensure production readiness Oversee maintenance coordination to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability Prepare and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including production output, quality metrics, and safety performance Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or chemistry is preferred 5+ years of experience in a high pace manufacturing environment 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a production setting Experience with production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, and/or GMP standards) Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools preferred Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
