Whilst previous experience from a food manufacturing environment would be advantageous, we are seeking a highly motivated individual with demonstrated people management skills.

Responsibilities

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for meat production and a knack for driving operational excellence? Look no further, we’re currently seeking a dynamic Production Supervisor to join our team!
Reporting to the Production Coordinator at our Wetherill Park site, you will play a critical role in monitoring the workflow in the packing department, ensuring efficiency and quality control. You will be responsible for overseeing finished products, managing packaging requirements, and ensuring the proper operation of packaging machinery. Additionally, you will oversee the labelling of cartons and products to ensure they are correctly prepared for the warehouse.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Continuously identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance efficiency
  • Collaborating with the training department to address skill gaps and develop highly skilled operators
  • Reviewing and refining work instructions to improve processes and enhance safety across departments.
  • Actively coaching and mentoring staff to optimize shop floor operations.
  • Maintaining a positive and proactive approach, motivating and driving operators toward success.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
