· Proficient in ERP Systems and confident using production systems and tools.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and driven Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on leadership role, focused on people management, employee development, and ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of the production area. With a strong development pathway in place, this position offers the opportunity to grow into a Production Manager role for the right candidate.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating training, maintaining high health & safety standards, ensuring process efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your ability to bring out the best in people and lead by example will be key to success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

People Management & Development:
· Lead, motivate, and support production teams to meet daily targets and performance goals.
· Drive a positive and high-performance culture on the shop floor.
· Identify skill gaps and coordinate training to ensure team capability and flexibility.
· Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and support.
· Take a lead on all employee relation issues
Training & SOPs:
· Coordinate training programs and onboarding for new staff.
· Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
· Update and develop SOP’s
· Monitor competency levels and ensure ongoing skills development is in place.
Manufacturing Operations:
· Learn and understand end-to-end manufacturing processes and product lines.
· Monitor production schedules, manage workflow, and support planning and efficiency improvements.
· Identify and address production issues to ensure minimal disruption.
Health & Safety:
· Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture.
· Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company H&S policies and relevant legislation.
· Conduct risk assessments and lead incident investigations where necessary.
Systems & Reporting
· Proficient in the use of an ERP System for production planning, inventory management, and reporting, ideally SAP
· Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, and safety.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven decision-making.
