REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office, ERP)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Confident, able to make sound decisions and resolve issues that arise
  • Effective communicator with staff as well as all levels of management
  • Flexible, innovative and comfortable setting own priorities
  • Thrives working in a very fast-paced environment

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Minimum 5 Years as Production Supervisor or equivalent
  • Valid lift truck license
  • JHSC certification
Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of Production – Demands Company wide, Schedule of machines, coordinating across shifts
  • Utilize ERP, daily reports, weekly meetings, and Work Order Program to input and track production
  • Communicate schedule to all pertinent people
  • Schedule regular machine maintenance with maintenance department
  • Resolve and report any issues that may arise to the Plant Manager
  • Enforce compliance of company policies and procedures maintaining a safe and effective work environment
  • Work with the Plant Manager to ensure that there are the proper number of people to meet production needs
  • Work with the Production Assistant(s) to schedule machines and personnel
  • Part of improving efficiencies in all aspects (total parts, parts per hour produced, PPM defects, downtime, employee productivity) of production.
