WE’RE LOOKING FOR AN IN-PERSON PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (CORRUGATING) IN THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY.

The Production Supervisor (Corrugating) will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the corrugating department, driving production efficiency, and fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.

Production Supervisor responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production activities and resolve off-schedule conditions
  • Monitor waste reduction, machine efficiency, and scrap utilization
  • Complete daily administrative tasks including scheduling and performance summaries
  • Partner with scheduling to optimize machine performance and labour resources
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 20+ unionized employees
  • Champion workplace safety and ensure compliance with safety procedures and legislation
  • Liaise with Quality Inspectors and ensure quality standards are upheld
  • Apply company policies and labour agreements consistently

The successful candidate has:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a unionized manufacturing environment (corrugated industry preferred)
  • 5 years supervising 20+ employees, including performance management
  • Strong knowledge of production scheduling, machinery, and manpower planning
  • Post-secondary education or certifications in WHMIS, forklift, health & safety, CPR/First Aid
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to problem-solve in fast-paced conditions

Compensation and benefits:

  • The discussed salary range is $70,000 – $80,000 plus paid overtime
