Our Production team has grown vastly in the last 6 months, so we’re now looking for a second Supervisor to assist the Production Manager in making sure everything is running smoothly and everyone has the support they need to be successful. This role is central to delivering a secure, effective manufacturing process for pharmaceutical products, with a clear focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Although experience in pharmaceuticals would be beneficial, it is not at all essential for this role. We are looking for a strong people manager, able to lead by example. To be successful as a Production Supervisor with Curaleaf, you must:

  • Have a drive to improve processes, managing change effectively.
  • Hold an awareness of Health & Safety.
  • Be able to communicate clearly, maintaining diplomacy in all situations.
  • Be target and deadline oriented, maintaining accuracy at all times.
  • Have experience in staff training and management.
  • Demonstrate a motivational approach, encouraging innovation, creativity, and continuous learning and development.
  • Be proactive, practical, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the consistent manufacturing of safe, high-quality medical cannabis products in full compliance with regulatory standards. You will supervise the day-to-day of production operations and manage team workloads, promoting continuous improvement and ensuring full adherance to cGMP practices.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Allocating daily workloads and setting schedules, aiming for peak efficiency and productivity.
  • Conducting staff inductions and ongoing training assessments, ensuring all regulatory and legal training requirements are met.
  • Overseeing the departmental training records and KPls, providing monthly feedback to the Production Manager.
  • Enabling effective communication across departments.
  • Maintaining the strict protocols and policies of the company to protect product integrity and safety.
