Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be partnered with a long standing brand in Sheffield to recruit a Production Supervisor. The role will lead a small but successful production team on a hands on line. The role has the pathway into Production Manager so would like someone with the ambition to take this step.

Role duties:

• Supervisory on the line of the manufacturing facility, leading by example
• Setting the standards, monitoring quality and improving operating procedures
• Ensuring capacity is met against customer demand and sales requirements
• Continuing hygiene standards to ensure audits are passed and certification is kept
• Support the goods in and warehouse function to ensure raw materials are available and at the line in time
• Machinery changeover, clean down and upkeep

Capabilities we’re looking for:

• Experience within a fast paced food production environment
• Proven capability to manage a team of operators
• Knowledge of BRC / SALSA requirements as well as hygiene actions
• Engineering / technical mindset to support machinery
• Able to perform physical lifting when needed
• Driving license/Forklift license beneficial
