Schedule: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours), 8 hour shifts, overtime hours available

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Disciplinary and/or functional management of employees
• Coordinating and assigning employees as per the qualification matrix, coordinating tasks within the shift
• Coordinating shift changes
• Maintaining shift-related information in the shop floor management
• Recording and working through instances of wastage and potential improvements in production and the organizational structures
• Ensuring compliance with workplace instructions (e.g. break times, smoking ban, alcohol, reporting in sick, dealing with accidents in the workplace)
• Responsible for the instruction and training of employees (incl. initial instruction in occupational safety)
• Ensuring and complying with work-related regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience in Union environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Computer knowledge, organizational and strong leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $52,991.43-$70,000.00 per year
