Description

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a diverse and talented manufacturing team to manufacture quality medical devices efficiently. Your position will include directing, disciplining, training, and assisting manufacturing employees. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting manufacturing issues with the machines in your department.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with 5+ years of related experience in area of supervision is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Machinist Certification preferred if in a CNC area.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead.
  • Excellent coaching and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with a wide variety of personalities.
  • Must be able to identify employee strengths and weaknesses for purposes of job suitability and training.
  • Must be able to handle employee situations in a tactful way.
  • Must be able to coordinate resources with work load on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to identify issues and bring them the attention of management for resolution.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Ability to think critically and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Understand relevant Safety requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in the English language.

  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and organization within your department for your benefit and that of your fellow employees.
  • Support the EMS Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
  • Perform Other Duties as assigned.
