Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead and mentor a team of 30–50 associates on the production line. The ideal candidate will drive productivity, quality, and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communicator with strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college diploma or technical education preferred
  • Bilingual is an asset
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor production teams to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets
  • Allocate labor and resources effectively to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency
  • Identify training needs and implement development programs to enhance team capabilities
  • Conduct root cause analysis to resolve production, quality, and equipment issues
  • Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), taking corrective actions where needed
  • Enforce compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP, and occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations
  • Conduct regular Process Observation Audits (POAs) to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
  • Lead daily Gemba (Huddle) meetings to review performance and promote team engagement
  • Manage containment and sorting processes for non-conforming products
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing practices, including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external quality audits and customer standards
  • Facilitate quality circle meetings to drive cross-functional problem solving and root cause analysis
