SEEKING: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR IN FLUID CONTROL INDUSTRY

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing facility in the fluid control industry.
The Production Supervisor is a critical role and responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a combination of technical and leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage employees and meet production goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
• Previous experience in production supervision or management in manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of production processes, machinery, and equipment
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus

• Supervise daily production operations to ensure efficient and timely production of goods.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust them as needed to meet customer demand.
• Communicate with other departments and teams to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance to prevent downtime and delays in production.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders for supplies and materials needed for production.
• Meet regularly with Plant Manager to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
• Evaluate various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency.
• Organize training and educational manuals for the production team
• Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Collaborate with management to set production targets and establish goals for the production team.
• Analyze production data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Assist in the recruitment and on-boarding of new hires.
• Maintain strong communication with employees to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for production processes.
