JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of our Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible working the line with the team at all times. This position will also work as a supervisor for the production lines. Our facility is kept at a cool temperature and it’s a wet environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Sanitation experience required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment; food and beverage is a must.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience leading a team and production line.

• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in the production lines at all times.
• Work with equipment to press juice, blend, recipes, and fill machines.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot juice processing machinery including mixers, blenders, and fillers.
• Prepare raw product to be run through the machine.
• Tend or operate machines that produce product.
• Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature.
• Stop machine when malfunctions occur, clear jams, and report malfunctions.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
• Implement and enforce strict quality control standards, including adherence to product requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to procedures.
• Ensure the timely and accurate recording and submission of all necessary forms, reports and documents required for management reports.
• Orient and train new production employees in company policies, safety, and plant procedures.
• Follow strict quality control standards to ensure the highest product quality.
• Perform routine cleaning of production equipment and coordinate maintenance activities with the maintenance team.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to meet production quotas.
• Report and communicate promptly both unresolved and anticipated problems.
• Package finished products into appropriate containers and prepare them for shipment.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a hygienic production environment.
• Ensure that all shift personnel; equipment, materials and areas of operation conform to all pertinent health and safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of the position, the employee will be required to:

• Stand, walk, sit, twist the body, reach with hands/arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch/crawl
• Use hands repeatedly to handle, move, and/or lift objects up to 50lbs
• Communicate, talk, and hear in an environment with reasonable manufacturing noise levels
• The employee may occasionally be required to stand and walk.
