Gulf Coast Supply & Manufacturing, LLC (GCSM) is a privately-owned company with 120 plus employees in five locations across Florida and Alabama. GCSM manufactures various profiles of metal roofing and trim, with a primary focus on the residential re-roof market generating over $50 million in annual revenue.
Gulf Coast Supply and Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor. This individual is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility located in Montgomery, AL. The facility operates 5 days a week. This is a hands-on position in our newest facility with opportunity for growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years in an industrial manufacturing role
Mechanical Aptitude. Previous experience as a machine operator
Experience working in an environment with a large number of SKU
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and pass pre-hire criminal background check.

Oversee all day to day activities of the facility utilizing LEAN Methodologies to improve the facilities primary metrics – Safety, Quality and Plant Performance
Daily Production Operations including building trim, panel production on automated and manual machines
Through team building lead the team achieve Zero Harm for all site associates
Assist Production Manager in the scheduling of the site workforce
Review Production schedule and make recommendation, communication of potential issues and resolve
Make recommendations and lead the implementation of Improvements
Assist in the overall execution of Raw Material Inventory while improving accuracy
Administration of production paperwork, truck routes, and pick lists
Hands on involvement including the production of panels, trim and other products
