Description
Production Supervisor, Closing (Commercial Laundry & Linen) Drive Excellence. Lead People. Own the Floor. The Opportunity: A Mandate for Leadership We are seeking a high-caliber Production Supervisor to serve as the primary architect of our facility’s daily success. In the high-stakes world of commercial laundry, momentum is everything. We aren't looking for someone to sit behind a desk; we need a decisive leader to command a production ecosystem of 25–35 personnel, transforming corporate objectives into elite-level results through superior management and floor-level oversight. The Mission: Management & Execution As the primary steward of our operational health, your leadership will focus on: * Floor Orchestration: Serve as the "air traffic controller" of the facility. You will synchronize soil-sort and finishing workflows to maximize Pounds Per Operator Hour (PPOH) while aggressively optimizing labor and minimizing lost time through active floor presence. * Human Capital Management: Build a culture of high accountability. You will motivate, coach, and train a diverse workforce, identifying internal talent for promotion and hitting aggressive retention goals through elite mentorship. * Linen Quality & 5S Stewardship: Act as the final line of defense for our customers. Through rigorous 5S process management, you will ensure the plant remains organized, safe, and clean, maintaining our "Gold Standard" for linen quality. * Operational Stewardship: Partner directly with the Maintenance Manager on equipment uptime and collaborate with HR on talent pipelines. You will provide the clear, concise communication necessary to keep the entire organization aligned with daily performance. Your Professional Toolkit * Advanced Management Skills: Proven ability to organize, direct, and effectively train large teams simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. * Uncompromising Accountability: The ability to take full ownership of your actions and the performance of your team, ensuring company policies are enforced consistently and fairly. * Strategic Problem-Solving: The ability to find immediate solutions to complex operational issues while maintaining a relentless focus on safety standards and inventory cost initiatives. * Logistical Grit: A "lead-from-the-front" mentality with the physical stamina to navigate a 10-hour shift and the strength to handle industrial equipment (carts up to 800 lbs) alongside your team. Qualifications & Requirements * Proven Leadership: A minimum of 1 year of related leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, or commercial laundry environment. * Leadership Foundation: High School Diploma or equivalent required. * Communication Mastery: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, to drive results at all levels of the organization. * Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and pulling/pushing heavy carts. The Expectations We provide the autonomy to lead and the authority to act. In return, we expect a supervisor who takes total ownership of safety goals, production metrics, and the professional evolution of their team.
