Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The primary focus of the role is to support the Site Supervisor and Unit Manager on a daily basis covering Primary, Secondary, Tertiary crushing processes along with Asphalt Plant production, whilst complying with current Legislation and Company SHE and Quality Systems.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Work in a safe manner to ensure the Health and Safety of yourself and others.
  • Comply with and be actively involved in MQP’s SHE and Quality Policies and Procedures (E.g. EMS, etc.).
  • Work effectively within deadlines.
  • Actively promote Zero Harm and Zero LTI culture.
  • Maintain best plant availability
  • Ensure adequate resource is available to optimize production.
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Responsible for ordering Asphalt Plant Incoming Materials to complete production programs.
  • Exhibit Team Leadership.
  • Deliver information to production management for production KPIs
  • Flexibility to cover other roles, within the job holder’s capabilities.
  • Carry out specific responsibilities under the Mines and Quarries Act.
  • Effective and efficient use of Asphalt Plant and Quarry Processing Operations.
  • Identify, develop and implement site improvements, opportunities, developments, capital investments, project assignments, etc. with in department
  • General housekeeping.
  • Implement and maintain the 5’S’ improvement ethos.
  • Support Maintenance Team on Plant Breakdown Tasks
  • Support production management in site requirements
