You’ll join our existing team delivering production and ship loading operations across this impressive 6,000-acre site. Working on a 5 on / 5 off, rotating days and nights shift pattern, you’ll play a key role in leading production activities, supporting the development of colleagues, and ensuring all operations are carried out safely and efficiently. Glensanda is only accessible via the Holcim UK ferry from Benderloch, so you can either commute daily or stay onsite in free en-suite accommodation, complete with a canteen, gym, sauna, and games room. What You’ll Be Doing Supervising daily production, ship loading, and secondary processing activities to meet targets and quality standards. Supporting, motivating, and developing team members to ensure safe, efficient performance. Ensuring all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety and environmental procedures, including inspections and safety tours. Overseeing housekeeping standards and maintaining emergency response readiness. Completing shift reports, permits, and shipping documentation accurately and on time. Managing workloads and planning shift activities in the absence of the Shift Manager. Liaising with other shift teams to ensure smooth handovers and clear communication across operations. Who You Are You’ve worked in a production, quarrying, or manufacturing environment and have experience supervising or leading teams. You’re safety-focused, organised, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and a calm, methodical approach. You’re ready to take the next step in your career, developing toward full shift management responsibility.
