INVISTA’s Kingston site is located in Kingston, Ontario (Canada). We have an opening for a Production Supervisor. As a Production Supervisor, you are responsible for developing your team into a high performing unit while advancing our vision and culture. You will do this by recognizing the unique skillset of your team members and aligning them in a way that creates personal fulfillment and value for the company. Our Team
We are one of Kingston’s largest employers, with over 600 employees dedicated to the production of quality products used in the automotive airbag, and engineering polymer industries.
Our facility spans over 240 acres on Carruthers Point on Lake Ontario. As Canada’s first nylon plant, we manufacture Nylon 6.6, polymers and fibers, including industrial yarns for airbags and industrial sewing thread. We have a strong commitment to stewardship, environmental excellence, and our community. We manage our operations in a manner that protects the environment and the health and safety of our employees, community, and customers.

WHO YOU ARE (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS)

• Previous experience leading/supervising a team
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing, industrial or military environment

• Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with other leaders to ensure effective transitions between teams and shifts. Share best practices, learnings, continuous improvement & learning opportunities to ensure knowledge and best practices are applied across the greater shift team.
• Our production supervisors work 12-hour rotating work schedule that includes weekends and holidays, in a 24/7 operation
