JOB SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading and managing the production team to achieve daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role involves supervising production activities, coordinating with other departments, and fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferred: At least 3 years of experience in production supervision or operations leadership, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of a shift and team, be the main point of contact for your team members.
  • Hours of work are shift 10am to 6pm.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

    Pay: $53,919.79 - $62,400.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Production Management:
    Supervise and coordinate production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
    Ensure adherence to production schedules and monitor production metrics to achieve production targets and meet customer demand.

Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control standards to ensure product consistency and quality.

  • Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed.
Foster a positive work environment and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, priorities, and performance expectations.

  • Safety and Compliance:

Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.

  • Quality Assurance:

Monitor production processes and product quality to identify deviations and implement corrective actions as needed.

Collaborate with the management team to address quality issues and implement process improvements.

  • Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Implement inventory control measures to optimize inventory turnover and reduce waste.
