Our client in the mining and petrochemical industry is looking to add a Production Supervisor to their midnight shift (11pm-7am) just north of Barrie, ON.

The Role:

  • Lead and support unionised production teams to meet short-term and long-term output targets.
  • Plan and schedule workforce activities to ensure all shifts remain aligned and productive.
  • Conduct shift change debriefings and collaborate with other departments to ensure continuity.
  • Enforce health, safety, and quality standards through regular audits and toolbox talks.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees to achieve performance and safety goals.
  • Monitor attendance, address concerns, and coordinate with HR on staffing and recruitment.
  • Manage reports, payroll submissions, and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Handle workplace incidents professionally, ensuring proper reporting and investigation.
  • Demonstrate and promote respectful communication and professional behaviour at all times
