Merchology seeks a Production Supervisor to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor is a critical role that is responsible for overseeing individual and team performance to successfully meet company cost, quality, and delivery objectives for the production of customized products. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES A successful Production Supervisor will: Take ownership and accountability for all safety and quality incidents within your area of responsibility. Manage individual and team performance through timely feedback and coaching conversations. Maintain SME knowledge of the machine operations under the purview of the position. Active participant in peak season staffing, including conducting interviews, training, and onboarding. Identify problems, develop solutions, and suggest changes when necessary. Maintain and communicate on key area metrics to team and stakeholders. Support project improvements across facilities and departments. Monitor attendance and keep accurate recordkeeping and documentation. Communicate positively within and across departments to gather information needed to make decisions. Take corrective action and work with manager on any disciplinary decisions up to written warning level. Effectively delegate and empower others to manage increasing workload as needed. Inspire, influence, and guide others to participate in common goals. Learn and implement EOS structure and principles for everyday success. Foster a culture centered around Merchology’s Core Values - exhibit Servant Leadership ideologies while coaching employees for success. Additional projects or duties as assigned. Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to stand for 7-9 hours per day. Previous leadership experience in a production environment Detail oriented, organized, and accurate Positive attitude and team leadership Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly. Ability to read and understand basic English instruction (colors, left/right) Excellent vision and fine motor skills to work with detailed products, small parts machinery, and fine threads. Excellent employee relations skills to lead in a team setting. Positive employee relations with all other staff Excellent ability to make collaborative decisions. Intermediate experience with Office 365 products (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in a manufacturing or production setting.
