Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and optimize daily manufacturing operations within our facility. This role is responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and efficiency while developing high-performing teams and ensuring operational consistency across shifts. The Mill Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in executing production strategies, fostering continuous improvement, and delivering results aligned with plant goals. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Leadership * Lead day-to-day final assembly operations to achieve production targets and performance goals * Plan, schedule, and prioritize production activities to ensure 100% schedule attainment * Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers * Manage material usage to meet yield and cost expectations * Oversee quality standards, inspection plans, and compliance with all requirements * Ensure timely and accurate completion of production documentation Team Leadership & Development * Lead, coach, and develop hourly team members and supervisors * Manage workforce planning including scheduling, training, coverage, and overtime * Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement * Conduct regular team meetings to communicate performance, priorities, and expectations Continuous Improvement * Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company’s Production Control Management System * Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost * Apply root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies to operational challenges Safety & Compliance * Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all EHS standards * Conduct safety audits, inspections, and shift planning to proactively identify risks * Ensure proper training, PPE usage, and equipment safeguards are in place * Hold team members accountable for maintaining a safe work environment Collaboration & Projects * Partner with cross-functional teams to support production goals and initiatives * Manage special projects as assigned by the Plant Manager -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS * Strong leadership and team development capabilities * Proven ability to manage production processes and deliver results in a fast-paced environment * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills * Effective communication and organizational skills * Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, processes, and production variability * Ability to plan and execute production schedules across multiple shifts * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) * Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment * 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in production * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred * Experience in cabinet manufacturing or similar industry preferred * Lean manufacturing experience (3+ years) highly desirable -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Manufacturing facility environment (non-climate controlled) * Requires extended standing, walking, and physical activity * Ability to lift materials exceeding 50 lbs as needed * Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required in designated areas * May require flexible hours, including extended shifts and weekends -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHY JOIN US?
