POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong technical foundation and a passion for manufacturing excellence, continuous improvement, and team development. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive operational success.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• Post secondary education in business administration or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Electrical, welding, refrigeration or sheet metal experience.
• Lean training.
• Superior organization, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong working knowledge of MS suite, particularly with Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize various deliverables.

• Accomplishing manufacturing results by communicating job expectations, coaching, counselling, and when necessary, disciplining employees.
• Selecting, onboarding, training and mentoring employees.
• Completing production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• Managing the accuracy of timesheets.
• Collaborating with various groups to identify cost reduction initiatives that will maintain or improve quality, reliability and manufacturing cycle time.
• Working with the Safety group to create, evaluate and promote the managing of the hazards of the operations via Job Hazards Assessments.
• Reviewing and controlling the resources for the correct and timely execution of work orders and consequently finish goods.
