How You Contribute to Pinnacle Transplant’s Success Your team is Pinnacle’s front line. As their production leader, you have ownership for their direction with a goal of quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process, creating life-changing treatments for ailments ranging from spinal disc degeneration to wound care. Work hours: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm + Monday for 4 hours (time TBD) - This is an Onsite position. Work environment: Manufacturing Cleanroom Environment Location: North Phoenix, near 19th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road Pay Rate: $68,000-$78,000 dependent on experience What You Will Do * Instill a culture of Quality into everyday Operations objectives including during each processing event, cleaning event, and transfer. * Guide Processing Technicians to prioritize compliance and adherence to SOPs during the completion of all events and tasks. * Organize and support Core events and personnel to maximize quality output, OTIF, safety, and other key performance indicators. * Audit compliance with all PTT SOPs, policies, and ensuring Good Documentation Practices and audit readiness at all times. * Collaborate with manager to recommend process, process flow, and business process improvements, to identify necessary documentation/updates or corrections that may be associated with improvements. * Ensure proper PPE, processing supplies, and cleaning supplies are maintained to support production, and coordinate restocking with Warehouse.  * Ensure all equipment is provided to Facilities for routine preventative maintenance and calibrations.  Ensure all corrective maintenance requests are adequately communicated to facilities personnel. * Supervise team including, but not limited to, hiring, training, timekeeping, and managing performance. * Maintain knowledge of all PTT processes and act as a processing SME when collaborating with R&D, Development, Manufacturing Engineering, etc. * Organize Core storage and support areas to optimize process workflows. * Responsible for reviewing and directing corrections for Cleaning Logs, EM Logs, and Batch Records. * Other duties as assigned.   What Qualifications You Will Bring * High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in regulated Tissue Banking or Organ Procurement industry. * 1 year experience in people leadership. * Certified Tissue Banking Specialist, preferred. * Quality experience helpful.   How You Will Grow * Develop skills in people management, event coordination, and communication. * In depth training / partnership with PTT’s Quality division focusing on: 1. Quality Audit Training and Readiness 2. Quality Batch Record Review 3. Quality Inspection  * Establish solid report with team and develop positive relationships to empower them in their positions. * Gain a solid understanding of all manufacturing processes. * Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (if not already).   Who You Will Partner With * Production Leadership. You will have daily verbal and written communication with Production Manager to ensure daily production goals are understood and executed with speed and quality. * Your Team. Regularly work in independent and team settings maintaining professional communication with all PTT associates.   Where You Will Work You will work in a clean room environment in a manufacturing facility in North Phoenix, having contact with human tissue and bone. You are required to wear protective clothing including but not limited to hoods, face masks, gloves, boots, and coveralls.    Your work is physical in nature. It will require standing for long periods of time, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. It also requires repetitive motion with substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.    You may be required to use equipment including but not limited to band saw, surgical instrumentation, autoclave, lyophilizer, moisture analyzer, heat sealer, sonicator, microscope, centrifuge, controlled rate freezer, cryo mill, calipers, desktop computers, and general office equipment.
