SUMMARY

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at Newmar Window Manufacturing Inc. This role is essential in overseeing production operations, ensuring that our products meet quality standards while maintaining efficiency and safety in the workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Secondary School completion is required
· 2+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting required
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience supervising multiple production lines/departments is an asset
· Basic abilities with hand tools
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and 5S required
· Window and Door manufacturing or other building materials experience is an asset

Responsibilities

· Supervise and train department hourly staff
· Uphold all established health & safety measures
· Manage employee hours in company ERP/Payroll system
· Plan, Schedule & Organize resources to achieve daily production goals
· Monitor and maintain established product quality protocols
· Promote a lean culture and drive cost savings measures
· Maintain compliance with established company policies and procedures
· Resolve employee concerns through investigating issues, identifying solutions and recommending corrective action to Human Resources
· Communicate production issues with Production Manager & Plant Manager
· All other duties as assigned
