Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring shipment goals, business goals, customer requirements, and production plans are achieved. The production supervisor will be involved with production and maintenance planning to allow for plans and goals to be met. In this role, you will be working with a cross functional group to learn the totality of the business. Required work hours are 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM.

  • Responsible for providing regular direction and leadership to large workforce through effective communication
  • Maintains and works in a safe, reliable, cost-effective manufacturing operation to produce the required product volumes, with full regard for health, safety, and stakeholder concerns. Installs, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots all mechanical, hydraulic, electric equipment and instrumentation.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of operations information systems to monitor manufacturing efficiency.
  • Coordinates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers.

*Essential job requirements include:

- Bachelor’s Degree with 2-5 years of work-related experience, an associate’s degree with 5 years of related work experience or 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience

- 2+ years of experience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies.

- Detailed working knowledge of Excel

*It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

- Experience in a union environment

- Experience with SAP and ADP eTime
