Job Summary: Production Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of production, delivery, receiving, maintenance, safety compliance and documentation, and customer service for the location, as directed by Plant Management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead employees in safe work practices and monthly safety training Conduct new employee safety training Efficiently coordinate and schedule production Support Housekeeping Program Manage production personnel overtime to levels established by Plant Management Engage employees and monitor participation in Food Safety Programs Support Growth and Development of entire production team Manage safety compliance and EHS documentation, as directed by Plant Management Comply with company, federal, state, and local regulations and policies Support established Preventive Maintenance Program Perform tasks as assigned by plant management Support shift and production goals Ensure warehouse inventory quality, and ensure accurate monthly counts Ensure Quality Control and timeliness of shipments Work independently in all production areas, if required Drive a culture of safety, accountability, opportunistic curiosity and contributes to creating an environment where people want to work. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ year feed mill experience preferred, prior supervisory or foreman experience in manufacturing or industrial operations preferred High level of detail, multi-tasking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with intuition to create solution. Positive, self-motivated individual with organization, communication, and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Sound judgment, with the ability to resolve challenges and make decisions under pressure Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and task management abilities Comfortable training and mentoring team members across a variety of production roles Physical Demands: Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, climb 75 feet of ladder, and be able to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, dust) Must be able to function in a loud, industrial setting with background machinery noise Ability to navigate an office environment. Regular and predictable attendance in office or site location.
