Oaktree UK Ltd is the only British company that manufactures Foil Party Balloons, based in Mildenhall, Suffolk and a successful family run business.
JOB SUMMARY:
Supervising and coordinating a small team of around 10 personnel.
The ideal candidate for this role will be hands-on, be inspiring, has the ability to work under pressure and can lead a team to ensure targets are achieved with a high level of efficiency and quality keeping operators motivated.
Be responsible for overseeing the second stage and onwards production process, ensuring that all products are processed, recorded, packaged and stored correctly to the highest standards.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience of production planning & scheduling.
Understanding of quality control procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Good computer skills to include Outlook, Excel and Word 2024 and above.
Have a sense of humour, preferred but not essential.
A LITTLE ABOUT US:
Oaktree UK Ltd is the only British manufacturer of Foil Party Balloons. We have been designing and manufacturing balloons since 2010.
Oversee the production process from the second stage, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback where necessary.
Ensure that safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
Liaise with other departments such as Despatch, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure a smooth work flow.
Maintain stock levels and perform regular stock checks to maintain accurate records.
Organising and processing the daily internal orders from the despatch department.
Organising product to be packaged and returned by various outsourcing agents.
Developing and maintaining excellent working relationship with your team.
Actively manage direct reports in respect of holiday, sickness, and general day-to-day management of the team.
Accurately enter data into the ERP computer system, respond to emails, update company calendar, run reports when required.
Identify areas for improvement in the production process and develop strategies to increase efficiency.
