We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resilient Production Supervisor to oversee and optimize our upcoming manufacturing assembly lines. Based permanently on-site at our new facility in Batam, this is a deeply floor-driven role that beautifully blends technical oversight, team leadership, workflow management, and process efficiency. Your goal is not just to maintain production quotas, but to lead a high-performing assembly team with a strong focus on quality control, safety protocols, and operational excellence for high-end technology products. Key Responsibilities Assembly Line Management: Supervise and coordinate daily assembly line operations to meet strict production schedules, volume targets, and enterprise-grade quality standards. Team Leadership & Safety: Directly manage, schedule, and train floor operators and technicians, fostering a collaborative, highly disciplined, and completely safe working environment. Workflow Optimization: Monitor manufacturing workflows, identify bottlenecks on the line, and implement immediate, practical solutions to minimize downtime and waste. Quality & Process Governance: Ensure all assembled components strictly adhere to the technical specifications and rigorous quality control parameters required for datacenter hardware. Global Alignment: Maintain structured shift reports and collaborate with local plant management and overseas technical teams to smoothly implement production updates and process changes. On-site Mobility: Play an active role in setting up the manufacturing floor for the new Batam launch, with full readiness to travel overseas for initial production training and alignment workshops. Requirements Education: Associate Degree (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical discipline). Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional supervisory experience specifically within electronics or IT hardware manufacturing environments. Technical Literacy: Proven track record of managing high-volume or high-precision assembly lines, with a deep understanding of production floor metrics and quality control. Communication & Language: Native or fluent in Bahasa Indonesia with professional operational English skills, capable of handling internal floor coordination and reporting to international managers. Mobility & Presence: Must possess a valid passport and be fully open to domestic or overseas business trips and technical training. This is a permanent, on-site position located in Batam, Indonesia. Nice-to-Haves / Bonus Points Prior experience in hardware manufacturing involving server components, PCB assemblies, or datacenter infrastructure. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S methodologies, or Six Sigma principles. Established experience working within the Batam Indo Industrial zone or similar global manufacturing hubs. Benefits & Perks Foundational Role: Be part of the core pioneer team launching a state-of-the-art facility for a major regional hardware manufacturer. Competitive Salary: A stable and rewarding monthly compensation package reflective of your technical and supervisory expertise. Global Exposure: Opportunity for international travel, advanced overseas training, and hands-on experience with world-class production standards. Career Growth: Direct line of sight to scale alongside the facility as the local production capacity and team size expand.
