Description Position Summary Perma R Products is seeking a Production Floor Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations at our Johnson City, Tennessee facility. This position is responsible for supervising production employees, maintaining safe operations, ensuring product quality, and meeting production targets. The Production Floor Supervisor serves as the front-line leader on the production floor, coordinating personnel, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring company policies and operational standards are followed. Compensation Pay Range: $19.00 – $28.00 per hour depending on experience Classification: Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) Work Schedule Standard Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM Additional Hours: Possible work on Friday depending on production requirements. Key Responsibilities Production Operations Supervise daily production activities on the manufacturing floor. Coordinate employee assignments to ensure production targets are met. Monitor production output and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with maintenance when equipment problems occur. Maintain accurate production records and communicate shift performance. Workforce Leadership Lead and supervise production employees during assigned shifts. Train and onboard new employees. Provide coaching and performance feedback. Enforce company policies and operational standards. Maintain discipline and accountability on the production floor. Safety & Compliance Enforce all safety policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized production environment. Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions. Ensure employees follow proper safety procedures while operating equipment. Quality Assurance Ensure finished products meet company and customer specifications. Monitor production processes to prevent defects. Work with operations leadership to resolve quality issues.
