Job Title: Production Supervisor Location: Richmond, VA Employment Type: Direct Hire Pay Range: $70,000 – $85,000 (Depending on Experience) Overview: We’re seeking a dynamic Production Supervisor to lead 2nd and 3rd shift operations in a 100,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth execution of production schedules, team performance, and quality output across six production assets. Reports To: Manufacturing Operations Manager Team Includes: Operators, Assistant Operators, and Material Handlers \n Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support press, logistics, and production teams on 2nd and 3rd shifts Maintain a fully trained, safety-compliant workforce with strong 5S standards Lead efficient machine set-ups and changeovers, tracking performance in real-time Ensure throughput, scrap rates, and finished goods meet or exceed standards Analyze production data and recommend improvements Support production trials and provide feedback on execution Foster strong communication and collaboration across operational teams Uphold company values and drive a culture of continuous improvement Qualifications: 5+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment 7+ years of total manufacturing experience (Flexographic/Web Printing experience preferred) Associate degree or high school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred Proven leadership in behavior change and process improvement initiatives Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills Knowledge of electronically controlled equipment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP experience a plus Background in Lean Manufacturing is a bonus \n This is a great opportunity to join a growing team where leadership, innovation, and operational excellence are valued.
