Description
Ensure all gage and layout personnel are paid properly, monitor WF1, including weekends/holidays Schedule OT, and vacations in WF1 Make sure daily coverage is provided (per crew) for plant support, ensure plant production is aware if coverage is NOT available Track and review upcoming Gage R&R's and calibrations with the Production areas (Daily - PIC room mtg) Work with layout and calibration vendors to assure all plant equipment is running properly Write PO's as necessary to get equipment fixed or calibrated Monitor IQS (gage tracking system) to ensure gage inventory is kept up to date Implement new Gage Tracking System where applicable, ensure gage tracking is up to date Monitor major Gage line calls, determine what help is needed, contact vendors, touch base with department engineers for vendor needs Ensure all team members complete required training, and schedule medical exams for team members Send out and track gages for repair Accessible on off shifts and weekends by phone in case additional Gage or Layout coverage is needed Lead weekly MTC meetings, driving cross-functional teams to complete checklist items Track MTC's to closure including implementation audit Attend Daily PIC room meeting to report-out on equipment status, MTC status/issues and any help needed Established and active employee resource groups High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, GD&T 2+ years of supervisory experience Demonstrated experience in accomplishing tasks and objectives Proven problem-solving ability Microsoft Office Knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) Bachelor's degree (mechanical engineering preferred) 5+ years of experience focusing on Quality Prior experience working with union personnel Previous automotive and quality analysis experience UAW experience
