Description
Ensure production employees are properly trained and OJT records are maintained and submitted when completed. Ensure work instructions are followed and employees are properly trained. Ensure OJT where applicable and work closely with the building training coordinator. Ensure that the buildings you are responsible for comply with their designated FOD requirements as required. Implements and sustains standard work in manufacturing cells in order to support customer requirements. Responsible for addressing any engagement opportunities identified during Employee Engagement Surveys. Ensure all employees comply with Attendance and Safety Policy Procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Direct experience in a manufacturing production environment and 2 years of demonstrated supervisory experience and A strong drive for results. Solid understanding of production operations, maintenance requirements, safety, training, and quality standards Demonstrated experience in lean manufacturing. Strong communication/leadership skills, flexibility, and an effective team player. Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education (HS Diploma/GED) with work experience in related technical and supervisory may be considered.
Responsibilities
The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that production employees are properly trained and that OJT records are maintained. They will implement and sustain standard work in manufacturing cells to support customer requirements and ensure compliance with safety and attendance policies.
