Company Description Job Description Responsibilities Review and validate MIS production schedules daily. Identify resource conflicts and propose countermeasures before they impact production. Own and manage visual Kanban systems for oils, PPE, packaging, and other consumables. Conduct daily Gemba walks and manage reorder processes to prevent stockouts. Maintain a rolling 7-day staffing matrix aligned with production schedules. Confirm readiness of people, materials, tooling, and maintenance 20 minutes before each shift. Coordinate shift transitions and fill staffing gaps quickly. Conduct daily safety walks and enforce LOTO/PPE/machine guarding protocols. Identify and escalate safety hazards while promoting a zero-incident culture. Monitor throughput, scrap, and downtime using Standard Work and Vorne dashboards. Lead hourly floor checks and huddles to keep performance on target. Escalate downtime events exceeding 30 minutes and initiate rapid repairs. Ensure completion of all spec checks, audits, and hold-point verifications before material moves downstream. Mentor operators and working leads while managing the skills matrix and training objectives. Quantify and report efficiency gains from continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Requirements College education is helpful but not required; A Bachelor’s degree is a plus. 7+ years in a manufacturing operations role. 3+ years in a supervisory role or leadership role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety protocols. Strong understanding of MIS scheduling, Kanban systems, and 5S methodology. Proven experience in an industrial manufacturing environment…Steel, Automotive, Aerospace, Chemical, etc. Working knowledge of ISO 9001.
