How you will make contributions that matter We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at the Kiewa site. This newly created role supports our transition to a four-on, four-off day shift structure within the Cream Cheese Department. You will play a pivotal role in leading operational excellence, driving safety and quality standards, and managing change across the department. Lead and coordinate the team while working closely with leading hands. Oversee daily production activities, ensuring compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) and company policies. Manage rostering, leave approvals, training plans, and skill coverage. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead toolbox talks and daily meetings. Monitor plant KPIs (throughput, yield, waste reduction) and collaborate with Maintenance to minimize downtime. Represent the department in daily operations meetings and liaise with warehousing and other functions. Promote a strong safety culture and investigate incidents promptly. About You Proven leadership experience in food manufacturing (minimum 5 years at a senior or team leader level). Strong people management skills with the ability to lead change and manage diverse personalities. Extensive knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices; dairy experience is highly regarded. Skilled communicator with experience in setting and monitoring KPIs. Familiarity with SAP and production planning systems. Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
