Seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead a production team and scale processes, for a growing building materials manufacturing company in North York, ON.
Reporting into ownership and key stakeholders and working with Product Development and Quality Control, the Production Supervisor will oversee prefabricated panel production including using automated machinery, ensuring safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

§ Diploma / Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent
§ 3+ years’ experience leading a production team in a manufacturing environment
§ Experience with automation, CNC machining, and fabrication
§ Knowledge of polymer chemistry or cementitious coatings is an asset
§ Ability to read shop drawings; architectural drawings a plus
§ Strong leadership, organizational, problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
§ Eligible to work in Canada full-time
§ Flexible availability to meet production demands.
§ Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems with strong documentation, reporting, and data analysis skills
§ Experience developing and achieving KPIs and compliance standards (ASTM / CSA)
Physical Requirements: This role requires standing for long periods, occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs, and working in a fast-paced, industrial environment with airborne cement dust. PPE must be worn as required.
Single shift plant: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, includes lunch break
Compensation: $67,081.70 has been researched as the median annual salary for the position.

§ Supervise daily production activities and manage team performance

§ Monitor quality control, particularly at critical points
§ Train new plant staff on production processes, safety protocols, and best practices
§ Maintain records of production activities and inventory levels.
§ Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes

§ Represent the Company as a dependable manufacturer that produces quality products
