How You’ll Perform the Role
We are currently seeking a competent and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM position with a rotating schedule to include weekends.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads, assists, motivates, and evaluates shift employees in daily operations and problem resolution, and promotes a culture of Safety and Continuous Improvement.
  • Promotes and trains on consistent and proactive safety, participates in audits for compliance, generates incident reports, and partners with EHS to investigate “close calls” as necessary.
  • Ensures quality specifications are met and procedures are followed.
  • Trains the team in executing company procedures, focusing on Safety, Quality, Food Safety Compliance and meeting production goals.
  • Cross-functional teamwork with HR for payroll processing, management and documentation of performance and disciplinary matters, and staffing.
  • Meets and coordinates with peers to share important issues at shift changeover.
  • Manages shift to safely attain production and scrap goals.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves process, equipment, and material issues in conjunction with maintenance and support staff.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of successful production supervision experience in a dynamic production environment.
  • Experience with Injection Molding, Extrusion or plastics processing a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Must have the willingness and ability to learn new systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Team player with ability to build lasting productive business relationships with hourly employees, management, and peers.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. (and sometimes more), and regularly stand/move around the facility, including up and down stairs.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
