Every truck we build is customized from the chassis up; we build our vehicles to suit the needs and desires of our diverse customer base. The Production Supervisor will oversee shop operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in production processes. Balancing quality, productivity, cost safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas; working to continuously improve in all areas. Ensuring effective employee relations by communicating job expectations: planning, monitoring and appraising job results; providing employee coaching, development and discipline. Provides leadership, management and motivation to attain high levels of employee achievement and retention. Develop and recommend improvements for facilities, equipment or procedures to improve safety, quality and efficiency. Report on key metrics established for the department. Other duties as assigned. Requirements WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Frequent mobility and/or sitting, standing, bending or stooping for prolonged/extended periods. Requires lifting up to 75 pounds frequently. Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery. Occasionally works at heights using ladder or mechanical lift. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Requires working in a fast paced environment. Requires a normal range of hearing and vision. Must understand vague and implicit instructions, and react favorably in all work situations. Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: High school diploma or GED equivalent (required). Must have a valid Driver’s License with a good motor vehicle record. Two years working in a manufacturing environment (required). Two years in a management type role (preferred) Experience in machine operations in a manufacturing environment (preferred). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with strong team-building skills. Ability to understand and use our computer applications and data collection and recording (Excel,SAP, Email, etc.). A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others. Ability to think ahead and plan over a 30-day time span and prepare action plans to achieve results. Quality orientation and attention to detail. An ability to manage multiple priorities.
