ABOUT YOU:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of work experience in production operations required.
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Working knowledge of GFSI compliant food safety standards, preferably SQF.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the processing area.
  • Cleaning, preparation and packaging of fruits and vegetables according to the proper specifications.
  • Maintain food safety standards and quality guidelines
  • Facilitate all areas of people/document management such as training, corrective actions, attendance, HACCP/SQF documentation and other plant policies.
  • Ensure sanitation standards are met as it pertains to the daily operations of the processing area.
  • Develop hourly employees by providing leadership, direction, and support to assure completion of the production schedule while maintaining adherence to safety, quality, and cost considerations.
  • Responsible for shift start up and shutdown.
  • Ensure efficient scheduling and production of all orders.
  • Maintain excellent communication with all levels of the organization to ensure the order-fill process.
