ABOUT THE ROLE Job Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. He or She also supervises staff to produce manufactured products, organizes and monitors workflow. Responsibilities: Supervise daily/shift production operations to ensure efficient and timely production of goods. Monitor production schedules and adjust them as needed to meet planning demands. Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, determining priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reports to production management in timely manner. Communicate with other departments and teams to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that may arise. Participate recruits of production operators, trains, and guides employees for efficiency in the production floor. Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and implement necessary corrective actions. Ensure that equipment and machinery are well maintained and properly functioning to prevent downtime and delays in production. Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs on time in case of breakdown and make sure preventive maintenance of the machine is on time by respecting production schedules and targets. Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders for supplies and materials needed for production. Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Analyze production data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity. Support team to entry/upload daily data in the system. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes About You Qualifications & Experience: A Diploma or an Equivalent training in a related field from a recognized institution. A minimum of 4+ years position related experience in a manufacturing environment. Direct Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. A “COC” completion certification is a plus. The placement date for the position shall be effective March 2026GC. Location – TSE Factory, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Salary – Attractive Application Period – 07 days from the date of post.
