WORKING AT WALKER

At Walker, your contribution matters. Become part of a team you can count on and where your health and safety are our priority. Our team of more than 1200 people work in environmental waste management and recovery, renewable energy, paving and construction, aggregates, and emulsions chemistries. We are a fifth-generation, family-owned company founded in 1887, operating from our base in the Niagara Region with facilities across Canada and the United States. We care about the environment, each other, and our neighbours, and give back to our communities. Join us on our journey to build a sustainable future, together.

ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a hands-on, safety-focused Production Supervisor to join our team at the Severn Quarry.
In this role, you’ll supervise the daily operations of our aggregate processing plant—ensuring high-quality output, team performance, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. You’ll take initiative, prioritize daily tasks, and work closely with colleagues at all levels to keep operations running smoothly. This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday (morning and/or afternoon shifts) and occasional Saturday shifts as needed.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000, depending on experience.
This is more than just a job, it’s a leadership opportunity in a cornerstone industry, with the chance to make a real impact on the ground and grow your career in operations.

  • Assist with procurement of plant parts and consumables to support maintenance needs.
  • Support budget preparation and cost control, escalating discrepancies to the Operations Manager.
  • Champion safety and environmental best practices across the site.
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of production staff, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth.
