Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 30 employees per shift in our high-speed microwave popcorn manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for owning shift performance across safety, product quality, production efficiency, and team development. The Production Supervisor plays a critical leadership role by coaching employees, solving operational challenges in real time, and ensuring production goals are met while maintaining the highest food safety standards. What You’ll Do Lead and Develop the Team · Supervise and coach a team of approximately 30 production employees and line leaders · Manage daily on-floor shift handoffs to relay safety updates, production expectations, and operational priorities between shifts. · Provide performance feedback, coaching, and recognition to support employee development · Manage attendance, performance discussions, and corrective action when necessary · Build a culture where team members feel supported, accountable, and motivated to succeed Drive Safety and Food Safety Excellence · Lead with a commitment to safety, ensuring all employees follow safe work practices · Ensure compliance with GMPs, sanitation standards, and food safety standards · Identify safety risks and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence · Respond to and resolve quality or food safety incidents through root cause analysis and corrective actions Deliver Production Results · Monitor and improve key operational metrics including OEE, line efficiency, scrap, and downtime · Adjust staffing, materials, and operations to maintain production flow and meet schedules · Investigate downtime and operational disruptions and lead problem-solving efforts · Ensure accurate documentation of shift performance and operational events Partner Across Departments · Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Quality teams to resolve issues quickly · Support plant continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and waste reduction · Participate in operational reviews and improvement projects What We’re Looking For We are looking for leaders who demonstrate the values that define our culture. Requirements Qualifications: Must be able to read, write, and understand English to perform job duties effectively and safely. High school diploma or GED required, associate or technical degree preferred. 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food or CPG. Strong understanding of food safety, quality standards, and production KPIs. Effective communicator with solid decision-making and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and lead a team. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills while actively supporting and driving change. Preferred · Associate or technical degree · Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods · Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing systems and Microsoft Office tools
